Choosing the right size at Taloreni starts with two simple steps: knowing your own body measurements and then comparing them carefully against the information provided on each individual product page. Because our dresses, gowns, and knit sets are designed with different silhouettes and fabric characteristics, no single rule applies across the entire collection.
What You Will See on Product Pages
Taloreni apparel is offered in letter sizes ranging from S through 3XL, depending on the item. Each product page that includes a size chart lists measurements in inches for key body areas such as bust, waist, and hips. These figures represent body measurements—the dimensions of the person the garment is intended to fit—rather than the flat-laid dimensions of the finished garment itself.
Some product descriptions also include fit notes, such as whether a style is relaxed, form-fitting, or slim through the body, and whether the fabric has stretch. These details vary from item to item, so always read the specific product page before making your selection.
Taking Your Own Measurements
Use a soft, flexible measuring tape. Keep the tape snug against your skin without pulling tight, and stand naturally with your arms relaxed at your sides. Measure over light undergarments or a thin layer, not over bulky clothing.
- Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, typically the narrowest point above your navel. If you are unsure, bend sideways—the crease that forms indicates your natural waist.
- Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hips and upper buttocks, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Record each measurement in inches. If a product page lists a range (for example, 33–35 for bust), that range refers to the body measurement the size is designed to accommodate.
Comparing Your Numbers to the Product Page
Once you have your measurements, look at the size chart on the specific product page you are considering. Match your bust, waist, and hip numbers to the corresponding size row. Keep in mind:
- Fabric stretch matters. A knit with gentle stretch may accommodate a measurement at the upper end of a range more comfortably than a structured woven fabric with no give.
- Silhouette affects fit. A relaxed A-line dress will drape differently than a form-fitting ruched gown, even if both list the same size chart numbers.
- Manual measurements can vary. Product pages note that hand-measured garment dimensions may differ by approximately 0.4–1.2 inches due to the nature of manual production and measurement.
Do not assume that a size that works for one Taloreni item will automatically work for another. Always check each product page independently.
If You Are Between Sizes
There is no universal answer for customers who fall between two sizes. Review the fit notes on the specific product page—some descriptions indicate whether sizing up or down is recommended based on the garment's cut and stretch. Consider how you want the item to feel: closer to the body or with more room. If the product page does not provide enough clarity, reach out for help.
Still Unsure? Ask Before You Order
If you cannot confidently match your measurements to a size on a particular product page, send us a message. The more specific your question, the more useful our response can be. Please include:
- The product name or link
- The sizes you are comparing
- Your bust, waist, and hip measurements in inches
- How you would like the item to fit (snug, comfortable, roomy)
- Any size-chart information that confused you
Write to dean@taloreni.shop. We will review the product details and share what we can based on the information available for that item. Please note that fit advice is guidance, not a guarantee, and does not constitute a return or exchange commitment.
